Julian Niman is Chairman and MD of the Nimans Group of companies which includes Rocom.

He started the business from his father’s Manchester jewellery outlet in the early 1980’s. Business quickly blossomed and he later moved to his own independent premises at Broadway, Salford.

But having outgrown this expanded site, in 2005 Julian masterminded the opening of purpose built £6m headquarters at Agecroft in Manchester. Four years later Julian made a multi-million-pound acquisition of Rocom to virtually double his business operations overnight.

He continues to play a daily hands-on role in the running of the group and maintains a very ‘down to earth’ approach, upholding the traditional values of service and value.

“Anybody can speak to me at any time,” he says. “I take pride in the fact Nimans and Rocom always put the customer first. In this fast paced economy we offer a personal and dedicated service.”
