Communications supply specialist Rocom will be taking centre stage as public sector procurement specialists gather in Leeds, plotting how to invest billions of pounds in the latest technology trends.
Leeds-based Rocom is exhibiting at In-Procurement Live at the Royal Armouries on 16th March where it will be showcasing a selection of telephone headsets, handsets and conferencing units as well as discussing how utilising the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications - such as SharePoint and Skype for Business - can assist organisations looking to develop or progress their digital transformation.
“Over the past few years the annual community conference has grown into a major event in the procurement calendar. Last year it was held in Birmingham and attracted public sector procurement buyers from all over the country with a combined spend of over £10 Billion,” explained Steve Watts, Head of Rocom Sales.
“Following last year's hugely successful initiative, a new ‘In-Procurement Live’ conference and exhibition’ is taking place in our home city. The Leeds event will bring both suppliers and buyers together to give them a unique opportunity to gain invaluable contacts and network with buyers from across the UK.
“Organisers expect to host in excess of 120 public sector professional buyers with a combined spend of over £7 Billion. As a major technology and communications specialist, with an impressive public sector pedigree, Rocom is delighted to be playing a front line role.”
Steve concluded: “From headsets, handsets and conferencing to Unified Communications, network connectivity, Skype for Business and hosted telephony, we are ideally placed to help public sector organisations and enterprise level businesses increase collaboration and drive overall efficiency and performance. The Royal Armouries event will be the perfect platform to connect with a key target audience.”
