Rocom is one of the leading Telecommunications Distributors in the UK and we are looking for a Field Based Voice and Data Specialist.

We are looking for someone to target the Southern region of the UK and lives in London or the M4 Corridor. You must have a minimum of 5 years experience of selling Voice and Data Network Services with proven sales experience in a Field Sales role. You will be commercially astute, business focused and results driven.

The ideal candidate will sell voice and data network services, across the Nimans and Rocom Dealer and Corporate base. You will be expected to increase sales of products and services through existing customers whilst also being able to manage and grow revenue. You will generate new business opportunities, deliver product-training overview and provide sales support, design and pricing information.

Essential skills for this role are:

  • Excellent understanding of Wholesale Calls and Lines, IP Voice, Broadband, Indirect Internet Access, Ethernet and Multiprotocol Labelled Switching (MPLS) Technologies.
  • Excellent Communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Computer literate with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Full UK driving licence with maximum of three points.
  • Experience of converged systems and IP technology.
  • Previous experience of dealer sales / channel development is desirable.

The ideal candidate will be able to write effective and interesting copy for use on our portfolio of company websites. A minimum of one year working in a customer facing customer service team is required, along with a minimum of one year telecommunications industry experience as product knowledge is important. You will be providing support for a specific product area(s) for each of the company websites. You will offer first line customer support and advice on all aspects of service, sales & technical enquiries and all other customer enquiries. The role will also include assisting in the ongoing SEO development of the websites and to identify and generate development opportunities. Whilst SEO knowledge would be an advantage, it is not essential and training can be provided.

Rocom and Nimans are the leading Telecommunications Distributors in the UK and we are looking for an outstanding Marketing Executive to join our busy team in our Wetherby office.

The purpose of the role is to create and implement Marketing plans for key supplier brands and resellers. Support in the management and creation of annual product catalogues along with the updating and upkeep of products listed on the Rocom X and Nimans databases.

You will manage events related to key brands and assist in the management of other events. You will create press releases and articles to raise the profile of our key brands while also managing the creation of Marketing collateral for selected resellers.

You will pro-actively create Marketing collateral including websites, brochures, banner ads, emails, flyers and e-newsletter.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent copywriting skills. You will be able to analyse and interpret data and have the ability to work with minimal supervision while under pressure. You will be confident and tenacious with an eye for detail. Excellent organisational skills are key to this role as is the ability to work alongside colleagues and customer to achieve goals.

Essential skills for this role are:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a Marketing department.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing campaigns from conception to completion.
  • Previous experience of business to business Marketing, preferably including some exposure to the reseller market.
  • Experience of creating online and offline Marketing collateral.

The role will involve maintaining good working relationships with customers. You will need to maintain high levels of appropriate product and service knowledge on current and future Rocom products and maintain knowledge of the industry and competitor activity.
